About This Policy

This policy applies to gettysburgmoldexperts.com (the website). Gettysburg Mold Experts is a lead-generation and referral website. It does not perform mold inspection, mold testing, mold removal or mold remediation itself. Please read this policy together with the Terms & Conditions and the Referral Marketing Disclosure.

Information You Submit

When you submit an estimate request, the form asks for:

• your name, your email address and your phone number (required);
• your ZIP code (optional);
• where the mold problem is located (optional); and
• a brief description of the problem (optional).

You must also check a consent box to submit the request. The form does not ask for a street address, and it has no photo upload. Please do not include health or medical details in your description.

Analytics and Tracking

Gettysburg Mold Experts does not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, session recording or other marketing analytics or tracking tools on this website. If that changes, this policy will be updated.

This statement covers tools that Gettysburg Mold Experts chooses to add. It does not describe every technology involved in delivering the website or processing the form.

How the Form Is Handled

The estimate request form sends your submission to Basin, a third-party service that receives form submissions. When you submit the form, your submission is stored in a Basin account, where Gettysburg Mold Experts can view it, and Basin sends notification emails about the submission. This policy does not describe Basin's own practices.

How Your Information Is Used

Gettysburg Mold Experts uses the information you submit to:

• receive and process your estimate request;
• refer a completed request to one local mold-remediation contractor, as described below;
• operate and protect the website and the form; and
• keep records relating to requests.

How Long Information Is Kept

Information from your request may be stored in the Basin account and in copies received by Gettysburg Mold Experts. Basin is configured to keep submissions from this form for 90 days. That 90-day setting applies only to submissions stored in Basin. It does not apply to notification emails, to copies or records kept by Gettysburg Mold Experts, or to information a contractor receives. Gettysburg Mold Experts may retain request information, including copies it has received, for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Basin may retain information according to its own practices.

Sharing With a Contractor

With your consent, a completed request is intended to be shared with one local mold-remediation contractor, so that the contractor may contact you by phone call and/or text about your request. Information from a completed request may be provided to that contractor. A request is not intended to be shared with several contractors. Different completed requests may go to different contractors, but each one is intended for only one. The information shared is the contact and project information from your request.

Your consent covers only this sharing and contact. It is not consent to general marketing or promotional messages.

This policy does not describe how a contractor handles information after receiving it.

Gettysburg Mold Experts may receive compensation from service providers in connection with referrals or leads. The Referral Marketing Disclosure explains more.

Questions About Your Information

If you want to ask about, correct or request deletion of information you submitted, you can email [email protected]. Gettysburg Mold Experts will consider requests it receives but cannot promise that every request can be completed.

Information held by Basin may be kept under Basin's own practices. A contractor that receives your information may keep its own copy under its own practices.

Security

No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, and this website cannot guarantee the security of information you submit.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may change from time to time. The date of the latest version appears at the top of this page.
